  • Group Course Details

    We welcome your calls & emails if you have questions!

    A mix of social dances taught every session!

    Each lesson meets for 1.5 hours, once per week, for 4 weeks.

    Course is just $59-65 per person, depending on the hosting location. Make-ups allowed. Dance to fun music from the past to the present!

    Classes geared toward beginner level students, with the goal of learning to dance with your partner in a fun and supportive environment!

    Content varies from course to course, so both new & returning students are always welcome!

    Stay partnered with the person you enrolled with. If you attend solo, plan to rotate with others who have also attended alone.

    Attendance varies, so a partner may or may not be available. Have questions? Feel free to inquire before enrolling!

    $125 for a 1 1/4 hour lesson, and each

    additional 1/4 hour is just $15.

  • About the Instructor & Founders

     

    Deanna Constantine

    Owner / Instructor

    Deanna follows in the footsteps of her parents, the renowned Minnesota dance instructors Dean and Mary Constantine. Deanna grew up helping in the family business and spent much of her childhood training in ballroom dancing and classical ballet. She shares her passion for dance by conducting group classes and private lessons in communities throughout the Twin Cities and surrounding suburbs. She contracts with park & recreation and community education programs to make learning to dance more accessible and affordable to her students. She strives to make classes fun and easy so all her students experience success! She holds a bachelors degree in elementary education from the University of MN. Whenever possible she likes to escape the cold winters to visit her 3 young adult children who live in warmer places!

    Founders

    Icons of the local dance scene since the 1950s, Dean & Mary provided dance instruction to Minnesotans for nearly 60 years! They shared their talents with "well over 100,000 students," as Dean often cited. They had the original idea of bringing the studio to the students rather than the students to the studio. They traveled all around the metro, contracting with community education, park and recreation, country clubs, health clubs, businesses, and even neighborhood home groups. Their tradition continues to this day with their daughter, Deanna, carrying on the family legacy. Mary now lives with another daughter in California. Dean passed away on September 23, 2016 at the age of 86. Photo: Dean and Mary received the "Lifetime Achievement Award" presented to them by USA Dance Minnesota in Sept. 2006.
